Q. Do your minibuses come with a driver? A. All our minibuses and coaches are hired with a PCV driver. Q. Can I smoke on the minibus? A. No, sorry due to the law brought in on 1st July, 2007 all our minibuses are no smoking vehicles and this is strictly adhered to, but our drivers will make designated toilet stops en-route for customer to have a smoke. Q. Can I bring my own Alcohol on the minibus? A. No, strictly no alcohol is allowed or to be consumed on any of our vehicles and this is strictly adhered to. Q. How old do I have to be to book a minibus? A. 18 or over. Q. Can I pay by cheque? A. Cheques will be accepted made payable to A1minibuses and be received by ourselves a minimum of 2 weeks before departure date. If said cheque is not cleared through our banking system then your booking will automatically be cancelled and a fee will be charged by ourselves to recuperate costs incurred. Q. Will the driver stop of at various locations on the way home? A. Unfortunately unless stipulated at the time of booking, or in writing thereafter, the driver will only make designated stops as stated on the booking form. Q. Can I change my booking once my booking is secured and will their be any costs incurred? A. We can change times of pick up and return with notice but there could be extra costs if times are unreasonable hours, if a larger vehicle is required then extra costs will be incurred by yourselves, but we will inform you of how much at the time of change. There maybe times when we are unable to change times of pick up and return but you will be notified of this immediately. Q. If one of my group is sick will I be charged? A. A fee of £50 will be forwarded to the person who reserved and booked our vehicle. This fee is to cover cleaning costs incurred. Q. Do I have to wear a seatbelt as I find it uncomfortable? A. Yes, a seatbelt must worn as this is current legislation and is strictly adhered to on all our vehicles. Q. Will the driver stop to let me go to the toilet? A. All our drivers make designated toilet stops en-route to your final destination, they are NOT allowed to stop on the hard shoulder, as this is against the law and this is strictly adhered to, so to make your journey more comfortable please allow for this. Q. If I book a trip, and then cancel do I get my £25.00 desposit back? A. No, once a £25.00 reservation desposit is paid this is confirmation of booking and secures your reservation and as the deposit covers administrations costs this is non-refundable. Q. If I am unhappy with my transport can I make a complaint and is it taken serious? A. Yes any complaint is taken serious. Any complaints regarding the service provided by the Company should, in the first instance, be taken up with a company employee in an attempt to resolve the matter. Failing satisfactory outcome, PLEASE INFORM our Head Office within 48 HOURS of the journey or as soon as is practicable. |
